fleche bleue Trapezaroff Michel Artists List

Michel Trapezaroff was born in 1947 in the French city of Thonon-les-Bains along Lake Geneva, within a family of artists. At the age of twelve he started to acquire his unique sense for colors and precision from his father, an accomplished textile designer. He then spent most of his time in museums where he shaped a rare talent by observing the technique of classical master painters. One of the most respected French landscape artists today, Michel Trapezaroff follows the tradition of the XVIIth Century Dutch Masters. With extreme sensitivity for natural beauty, he observes and counts the quiet landscapes, rivers and historical regions of France with light oil and extraordinary realism, always searching for true light. Such pictural perfection and sensitivity make each of his  paintings a precious collectable. A short glimpse at his work creates an instant sense of peacefulness and completion. The snow is silent, the valley and forest are deep, the river so mystical. Time has suddenly stopped; one can feel its historical dimension and its density.
